Eligibility: 10+2 (PCB/PCM) with at least 50% marks (Provision for Specialisation/ Electives in 5th Semester in Medical/ Pharmaceutical Biotechnology, Plant & Food Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Nanotechnology, Animal Biotechnology, Environment Biotechnology)
Duration: 4 years (8 semesters)
Industrial Training: Spread over different semesters for on-hand experience in biotech related commercial /research and development activities.
B Tech Bioinformatics
Eligibility: 10+2 (PCB/PCM) with at least 50% marks

Post Graduate Programmes
M Tech Biotechnology
Eligibility: B Tech Biotechnology OR M Sc Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ any other branch of Life Sciences; minimum marks 50%.
Duration: 2 years (4 semesters)
Project Work: The last semester will encourage the student to work on a project so that they can independently handle biotechnological and engineering aspects of relevant commercial activities such as DNA based technologies, bioprocess engineering, enzymology, immunotechniques, drug designing and development, animal and plant cell manipulation techniques along with biosafety, bioethics, environmental and agricultural biotechnology.
MBA Biotechnology*
Eligibility: Bachelor’s Degree in Science/ Engineering/ Technology with at least 50% marks.
Duration: 2 years (4 semesters)
Industrial Training/ Project Work: Project Study/ industrial training in the last semester.

M Sc (Hons) Biotechnology
M Sc (Hons) Microbiology (Medical)
Eligibility: B Sc (Hons) Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry with at least 50% marks OR BSc Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry with at least 55% marks OR BSc with Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry as one of the subject with at least 60% marks. (Admission in order of above preference)
Duration: 2 years (4 semesters: 2 semesters’ coursework + 2 semesters’ thesis)
M Phil Biotechnology/ Microbiology
Eligibility: Eligibility: M Sc (Hons) Biotechnology/ Microbiology with 55% marks OR M Sc in any related branch of Life Sciences with minimum of 60% marks.
Duration: 1 year (2 semesters: 1 semester coursework + 1 semester thesis)
